Role Description As a Property Manager, you are responsible for the full operations of your assigned portfolio; a mix of value add single family, multifamily communities and scattered-site rentals across Wake, Durham, and Johnston counties This role includes managing lease agreements, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, and ensuring units and common areas are maintained to company standards.

The Property Manager will handle resident communications and service requests, work with maintenance vendors, and support rent collection, delinquency follow-up, receivables and payables in alignment with company policies.

The role also involves conducting property inspections, assisting with marketing and resident retention efforts, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant housing regulations and company procedures. The Property Manager collaborates closely with ownership and internal teams to support financial performance and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential property management experience (multifamily and/or scattered-site strongly preferred)
• Active Real Estate License is required for this role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple properties or responsibilities, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with residents, owners, vendors, and team members, including conflict resolution and customer service abilities.
• Basic financial and administrative skills, such as handling rent collection, interpreting budgets, preparing reports, and using property management or office software.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and relevant local, state, and federal regulations governing residential property management.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work on-site in Raleigh, NC, including occasional evenings or weekends as required for emergencies, showings, or resident events.
