About the Role

Are you a licensed Realtor who's discovered you love real estate—but aren't sure traditional residential sales is the long-term career for you? Or maybe you're looking for an opportunity to build a career in real estate with stability, mentorship, and a clear path for growth. This role is designed for someone early in their career who's ambitious, organized, eager to learn, and excited to make a real impact.

You'll begin by managing a portfolio of approximately 50–70 residential properties while actively leasing 10–20 homes at any given time. As you gain experience and your portfolio grows to approximately 150 homes, you'll have the opportunity to choose the career path that best fits your strengths and interests—either continuing into a dedicated Property Manager role or specializing as a Leasing Manager.

You'll work alongside an experienced team while taking ownership of your own portfolio and leasing pipeline. This position provides hands-on experience in every aspect of residential property management and leasing, making it an ideal launching point for a long-term career in the industry.

What You'll DoProperty Management

• Manage a growing portfolio of approximately 50–70 residential properties
• Build strong relationships with property owners and residents
• Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor communication
• Oversee move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and resident communications
• Proactively communicate with owners regarding maintenance, property performance, and important updates
• Ensure lease compliance while delivering exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with internal team members to deliver an outstanding owner and resident experience
• Continuously improve processes and contribute ideas that help the team operate more efficiently

Leasing

• Manage approximately 10–20 active rental listings at any given time
• Coordinate marketing, professional photography, and online listing syndication
• Respond promptly to prospective tenant inquiries
• Schedule and conduct property showings
• Review rental applications and assist with applicant screening
• Coordinate lease signing and move-in preparation
• Help onboard newly acquired management properties
• Build relationships with Realtors and referral partners to help grow our portfolio

Property management experience is not required. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

QualificationsRequired

• Active North Carolina Real Estate License
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• Comfortable learning new technology and software
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred

• Previous experience in real estate, leasing, customer service, or property management
• Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software
• Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• $55,000–$60,000 annual salary
