Duties

• Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Coordinate daily cleaning schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to verify adherence to safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and cleanliness standards.
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety regulations, industrial cleaning techniques, and customer service expectations.
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, laundry services, and custodial equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Enforce safety policies related to chemical handling, equipment use, and sanitation practices to maintain a secure work environment.
• Address guest concerns promptly with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring satisfaction while maintaining operational standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or commercial cleaning environments with a strong background in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills suited for managerial communication with staff and guests alike.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures, safety regulations, janitorial practices, and cleaning & sanitation management.
• Ability to lead by example with leadership qualities that motivate staff towards excellence in service delivery.
• Experience with laundry operations and custodial tasks is highly desirable.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
