Finance Manager, Operations

Position Summary

We are seeking a Finance Manager, Operations to partner with business leaders in driving financial performance across a fast-paced, multi-site operational environment. This role is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, cost control, and operational finance support while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

The ideal candidate is a strategic business partner with strong analytical skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range financial planning in partnership with operational leadership.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance, strategic analysis, and recommendations that drive profitability and operational performance.
• Monitor financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and develop action plans to improve results.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, labor, and operating costs to support informed decision-making.
• Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, cost allocations, and financial reporting.
• Support new business initiatives by providing financial analysis, investment evaluations, and business case development.
• Evaluate customer, contract, and site profitability while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting standards.
• Maintain financial reporting structures, performance metrics, and cost allocation methodologies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teams to drive consistency and share best practices across the organization.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• Seven or more years of progressive accounting, finance, or controllership experience.
• Experience supporting multi-site or multi-entity operations.
• Background in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, or other operationally focused industries is highly preferred.
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and KPI reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence business leaders and partner across multiple functional areas.
• Experience leading process improvements and change management initiatives.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $100,000–$135,000, depending on experience.
