We're seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist / Special Education Teacher to join a collaborative school district in the Columbus, OH area for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to help students reach their full potential while working alongside an experienced and supportive educational team.

The district is actively interviewing and looking to hire qualified candidates as soon as possible.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Intervention Specialist License or Ohio Special Education Teaching License
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
• Passion for helping students achieve academic, behavioral, and social success

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required
• Experience working with a variety of disability categories and classroom settings is a plus
