About the Ro

le:Currie & Brown is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Construction Manager with 12+ years of construction management experience to support a major data center program in Columbus, Ohio. This individual will serve as an extension of the client's construction leadership team, driving execution, field coordination, risk identification, stakeholder alignment, and overall project delivery across an assigned camp

us.

• ties.Serve as an extension of the client's team, ensuring alignment between project stakeholders, contractors, and field t
• eams.Drive project execution by monitoring progress, identifying risks, resolving issues, and maintaining accountability across all par
• ties.Lead field coordination efforts and facilitate communication between contractors, consultants, and client representat
• ives.Monitor schedule performance, construction quality, safety compliance, and overall project deli
• very.Conduct site walks, progress meetings, and construction reviews to ensure project objectives are achi
• eved.Oversee heavy civil construction activities including site development, grading, excavation, utilities, drainage, paving, and underground infrastructure installa
• tion.Coordinate and monitor installation of underground utilities including storm, sanitary, water, fire protection, electrical duct banks, telecommunications, and other civil infrastruc
• ture.Ensure compliance with SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan), environmental permits, erosion and sediment control requirements, and applicable environmental regulat
• ions.Collaborate with environmental consultants, inspectors, and regulatory agencies to resolve compliance issues and maintain project permitting requirem
• ents.Review contractor work plans, sequencing, and means and methods for heavy civil and underground construction activi
• ties.Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks and constra
• ints.Support commissioning readiness, turnover planning, and project closeout activi
• ties.Maintain accurate project reporting and provide regular updates to leadership t
• eams.Promote best practices and continuous improvement across the construction pro

gram.

Qualifications & Educ

• ation:12+ years of construction management experience supporting large-scale capital construction pro
• jects.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline pref
• erred.Proven experience leading field execution for data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, industrial, advanced manufacturing, heavy civil, infrastructure, or large commercial pro
• jects.Strong understanding of site development, earthwork, grading, excavation, underground utilities, drainage systems, and civil infrastructure constru
• ction.Working knowledge of SWPPP requirements, environmental compliance, erosion and sediment control, and applicable local, state, and federal environmental regula
• tions.Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, project controls, risk management, scheduling, quality assurance, and safety compl
• iance.Experience working directly with owners, general contractors, specialty contractors, and trade par
• tners.Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relation
• ships.Strong understanding of commissioning readiness, turnover, and project closeout proc
• esses.Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving s
• kills.Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, BIM 360, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management
• tools.Data center or hyperscale construction experience pref
• erred.OSHA 30 certification pref
