Position Overview

GNC is on the lookout for an experienced Retail Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition Team. This role will be based out of Pittsburgh, PA, and requires a strategic professional who can manage high-volume recruiting efforts, focused on sourcing and screening diverse talent for our retail organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop tailored job descriptions.
• Source, interview, and evaluate candidates to assess their fit for various roles.
• Utilize data-driven insights to track key recruitment metrics, including time to fill and sourcing channels.
• Analyze hiring requirements and trends to set accurate staffing goals.
• Meet established Talent Acquisition KPIs and targets.
• Build a robust network of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.
• Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and legal compliance regarding recruitment.
• Manage recruitment databases and maintain key performance records.
• Collaborate on hiring programs and oversee the onboarding process through our HR platform.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience by keeping candidates engaged and informed.
• Coordinate interview processes, including scheduling and feedback sessions.
• Communicate regularly with candidates to provide updates and facilitate a smooth hiring process.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Work Environment

• Hybrid work model with 2 days in-office attendance in Pittsburgh, PA, and the option to work remotely.
• Physical activities may include standing, walking, and using hands for various tasks.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and perform tasks requiring close attention, including extensive computer use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in recruiting and talent acquisition.
• Proven record in recruitment, preferably within the retail or health and wellness sectors.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment.
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across the organization.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
