Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare high-quality coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and standards.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling and register balancing.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation surfaces, beverage stations, and seating areas, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols.
• Assist with retail sales transactions by stocking supplies, organizing displays, and managing inventory levels.
• Serve food items promptly and ensure proper presentation while providing excellent customer service throughout the guest experience.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Skills

• Previous barista experience or café experience with knowledge of beverage service and drink preparation techniques.
• Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing register operations.
• Food industry knowledge including food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic food preparation skills.
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness standards through regular cleaning duties and adherence to health regulations.
