Construction Manager – Project Execution (III / Senior / Staff)

Lead the safe execution of natural gas, infrastructure, and industrial construction projects from planning through closeout. As the on-site construction leader, you'll be responsible for safety, quality, schedule, cost performance, and contractor execution.

Level placement is based on experience, project complexity, and leadership scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field construction activities and serve as the primary site representative
• Manage construction planning, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration
• Oversee contractor execution, performance, and compliance
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Commissioning teams
• Identify and mitigate construction risks, issues, and change requests
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct construction inspections, audits, and quality reviews
• Support project closeout, turnover documentation, and lessons learned

Construction Manager III

• Leads construction execution for projects and major work scopes

Senior Construction Manager

• Leads large, complex construction projects, typically valued at $50M+

• Leads large-scale or highly complex projects and programs
• Accountable for overall construction strategy and project delivery

Minimum Qualifications By Level

Construction Manager III

• High School Diploma/GED
• 6+ years of related construction experience
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification

Senior Construction Manager

• High School Diploma/GED
• 8+ years of related construction experience
• 5+ years supporting large-scale projects ($50M+)
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification

Staff Construction Manager

• High School Diploma/GED
• 12+ years of related construction experience
• 7+ years supporting large or mega-projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Natural gas pipeline, processing, industrial facility, or infrastructure construction experience
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or power generation projects
• Knowledge of construction technologies, pipeline systems, and industry best practices

Work Environment

This is a field-based position that requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and active construction environments.

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work at heights for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (team lift for heavier items)
• Ability to use hand tools and required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required

, Responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of natural gas pipeline facility and other construction projects. Is the company field representative, and is the single point of contact for all construction-related activities, including coordination of work by others.

Job duties include accountability for front-end planning, construction estimate development and analysis, input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection, contract management, review and acceptance of contractor's Inspection Testing Plan(ITP), Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management, and liaison activities with Operations, Engineering and Commissioning Team.

Anticipates and proactively addresses potential construction-related issues and claims. Informally leads the on-site construction team (typically 5 to 15 reports). Performs and documents results of audit processes as required. Leads construction closeout, including preparation of data books, project completion reports and lesson learned. May be assigned to projects of varying sizes, scope, and complexity.
