Job Description

UI/UX Visual Designer/Developer will create amazing user experiences. Must have an eye for clean and functional design, possess superior UI/UX skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Business Analysts to define innovative solutions for the product owners and developers
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present and defend designs to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
• Establish and promote design and usability guidelines, best practices and standards
• Establish a design process that fits within the Agile/Scrum development process for an expanding team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of UI or UX experience
• A portfolio that shows a strong knowledge of UI/UX design
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Balsamiq Mockup, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping, a plus.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process, a plus.
