Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Server/Cashier to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, accurately processing sales transactions, and supporting daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and experience in food and beverage service.

Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card processing Serve food and beverages promptly, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Assist with food preparation and presentation when needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Clear tables, bussing as necessary to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort Support host/hostess duties by managing reservations through OpenTable or comparable systems Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, and beverage service techniques Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant environment, or hospitality preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests effectively Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales revenue Experience with wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, spirits service, and beverage presentation is desirable Food industry experience including serving, bartending, or cashiering preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail This role is integral to delivering memorable dining experiences through exceptional service and operational excellence.
