Waiter/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
• Enter orders into the Aloha POS system
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation
• Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation system to manage guest reservations
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address guest concerns or issues promptly
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues to provide exceptional service
