General Description

This role is responsible for providing a wide range of engineering and support tasks as an Engineer - Technical Support. It requires solid technical knowledge of the company’s systems, products, and operational procedures. The role will plan technical service activities, coordinate issue resolutions, and deliver prompt, high-quality technical assistance to internal teams, clients, and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to clients, project teams, and field engineers in resolving technical submissions

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, product data sheets, and troubleshooting guides.

Operate diagnostic and monitoring tools to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

Support project execution through technical clarifications, testing coordination, and commissioning assistance.

Establish communication with vendors and suppliers for product specifications and technical submittals.

Deliver reports on system performance, fault trends, and service activities.

Collaborate with engineering, sales, and service departments to ensure technical consistency across all

projects.

Maintain up to date CRM information.

Conduct any other tasks or projects assigned by the direct line manager.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering or Geology.

Degree or certification in Technical Support, Systems Engineering, or IT Networking is an asset.

Certified in AutoCAD, PLC, or Control Systems is an advantage.

Proven experience of 3–5 years (UAE), among which at least 2 years as a Technical Support Engineer in

automation, control systems, or utility projects.

Working knowledge of technical drawings, control systems, instrumentation, and troubleshooting techniques.

Basic skills in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and diagnostic software tools.

Valid driving license preferred.

Strong computer proficiency and ability to deliver clear and structured technical reports.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and meet tight deadlines.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and deliver consistent results.
