Graphic Designer - Internship

The Graphic Designer Internship at The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah offers an immersive learning experience within a refined luxury heritage environment where storytelling, culture, and aesthetics are at the core of the brand. Following an initial induction and orientation phase, the intern will work closely with the Marketing team and assigned Tutor, gradually assuming greater responsibility and creative autonomy.

This internship is designed for a creative, detail-oriented individual with a passion for graphic design, visual storytelling, and luxury hospitality branding.

The intern will support the Marketing team with a strong focus on graphic design and content creation, including:

• Conducting benchmarking research to identify best practices and creative trends across social media and digital platforms and supporting the creation of content calendars and execution plans.
• Designing advertisements, flyers, and creative visuals to promote hotel offers, events, dining experiences, and brand campaigns.
• Creating printed and digital marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, catalogues, reports, presentations, and other visual assets in line with the hotel's brand identity.
• Providing graphic design support for internal and external presentations, including marketing plans, reports, and brand decks.
• Supporting the daily visual management of social media channels by adapting content for different platforms and formats.
• Collaborating with the marketing team to enhance engagement across social media and local digital channels.
• Retouching and enhancing images related to rooms, SPA, food & beverage, guest experiences, services, and property.
• Creating basic animations, visual effects, and digital enhancements for social and digital content.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent knowledge of graphic design tools, including Canva, Shatterstock and Adobe Creative Suite, with particular focus on InDesign and Illustrator.
• Video editing skills are considered a strong advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
• Proactive, flexible, and eager to learn in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
