Senior Counter Sales – Building Materials

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Counter Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales within the building materials sector. You will be responsible for assisting walk-in customers, handle our key-clients, generating sales, providing technical information, and ensuring excellent customer service at the counter.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the sales counter in a professional and friendly manner
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable building materials
• Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales orders, and purchase orders
• Provide technical knowledge about products (cement boards, drywall, plywood, hardware, paints, power tools, etc.)
• Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams for order dispatch
• Build and maintain relationships with regular customers
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and market trends
• Achieve assigned sales targets and support overall branch revenue goals

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in counter sales in building materials
• Strong knowledge of construction and building materials
• Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Punjabi
• Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Excel, E-mails, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
