Accounting Manager

Al Rasikhoon Real Estate is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations in Ajman.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, supervising the finance team, ensuring compliance with UAE financial and VAT regulations, and delivering accurate financial reports to support management decision-making.

This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong UAE experience, leadership capability, and a proven background in real estate or fast-paced business environments.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management and Reporting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure all accounting records, supporting documents, and financial transactions are accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and financial commitments.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cost-control activities.
• Review and approve payment requests, supplier invoices, expense claims, and financial settlements in line with company policies.
• Prepare financial analysis and reports to support senior management with operational and strategic decisions.

Compliance, VAT, and Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, financial reporting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns and other required government-related financial filings on time.
• Establish, maintain, and improve internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure audit requirements are completed efficiently.
• Identify financial risks and recommend practical solutions to protect company assets and improve financial performance.

Team Leadership and Department Management

• Lead, supervise, and mentor the accounting team to ensure high standards of accuracy, productivity, and accountability.
• Allocate tasks, review team performance, and ensure timely completion of all accounting activities.
• Provide training and guidance to enhance the team’s technical knowledge and performance.
• Maintain an organized workflow and ensure effective coordination between the Finance Department and other business units.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in accounting, finance, or an Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant role.
• Proven experience in leading and managing an accounting or finance team.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, financial compliance, and accounting best practices.
• Professional certification such as CMA, IFRS, ACCA, CPA, or CA will be an advantage.
• Experience in the real estate sector is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be given preference.
• Must be able to commute to or relocate to Ajman before joining.
