Job Summary

The Retail Clothing Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a clothing retail store. This includes managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, driving sales, maintaining inventory, and upholding the store’s visual and operational standards. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for fashion and retail.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Monitor sales and budgetary performance; prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Sales & Customer Service

• Drive sales to meet or exceed store targets.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Handle customer complaints and queries professionally and effectively.

Staff Management

• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate store employees.
• Schedule shifts and delegate tasks to ensure coverage and productivity.
• Motivate and develop staff to meet performance standards and growth objectives.

Merchandising & Inventory

• Maintain store presentation standards including visual merchandising and cleanliness.
• Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and loss prevention.
• Coordinate with suppliers and distribution centers for stock orders and deliveries.

Marketing & Promotion

• Implement in-store promotions and marketing strategies to drive foot traffic and sales.
• Collaborate with the marketing team for seasonal campaigns and product launches.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a store manager or in a similar retail management role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good understanding of retail KPIs and business metrics.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in retail management software (e.g., POS systems, inventory software).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
• Experience in fashion or apparel retail is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and customer preferences.

Work Conditions

• Full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• On-site role with occasional lifting and physical activity related to stock management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
