Chiller Technician

Al Sharqi Transport Co., Ajman – is looking for a Vehicle Chiller Technician who can install, maintain, and repair transport refrigeration and air conditioning systems on commercial vehicles. He needs to ensure perishable cargo remains at precise temperatures by diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults, performing preventative maintenance, and complying with safety regulations.

This is a full-time and on-site at Al Sharqi’s auto workshop. He must be prepared to work in physically demanding environments, handling diagnostic tools and standing for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities

• System Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on transport refrigeration units, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and related components.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues in chiller vehicles.
• System Repairs: Repair or replace faulty parts, conduct leak testing, and perform AC gas refilling.
• Testing & Calibration: Verify temperature controls, system pressure, and performance before handing the vehicle back for operation.
• Documentation: Complete detailed service reports, document spare parts used, and update job cards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Diploma or ITI certification in automotive, refrigeration, or HVAC technology.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and refrigerant handling practices.
• Experience: Previous experience in an auto workshop or transport refrigeration environment is highly preferred, especially within the GCC region.
• Licensing: A valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record would be an added advantage.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
