HSE Officer (Route Coordinator)

Job Summary

We a fast-paced Dubai based company looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HSE Officer to oversee daily operational activities, ensure smooth workflow, and coordinate between departments to improve efficiency and productivity. The HSE Route Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all transportation routes and operations comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.

The role involves route planning, risk assessment, monitoring driver compliance, and implementing safety measures to maintain efficient and safe transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transportation routes to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct route risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure all drivers follow HSE guidelines, road safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Monitor vehicle movements through GPS and tracking systems.
• Coordinate with drivers, operations team, and HSE department regarding route updates and safety concerns.
• Conduct regular safety inspections for vehicles and transportation equipment.
• Maintain records of incidents, accidents, and safety reports.
• Investigate route-related incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Organize driver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE transportation laws and environmental standards.
• Monitor fuel usage, driving behavior, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Prepare HSE compliance reports and submit them to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Safety, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
• Certification in IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in transport operations or HSE coordination.
• Knowledge of UAE road safety and transportation regulations.
• Good understanding of GPS monitoring and route planning systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle emergencies and coordinate effectively under pressure.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
