Job Purpose

To coordinate HSE, Fire Protection, and Civil Defense compliance activities across all company facilities by supporting safety operations, emergency preparedness, statutory compliance, contractor coordination, and fire protection system management.1. General Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily HSE activities, workplace inspections, audits, and implementation of corrective actions to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Manage Permit-to-Work (PTW), Risk Assessments (RA), emergency response plans, HSE procedures, and statutory inspections.
• Plan and coordinate toolbox talks, HSE training, emergency drills, and safety awareness programs.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, monitor corrective actions, and provide HSE guidance to Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
• Coordinate HSE procurement activities, including contractor evaluation, technical review of fire and LPG system quotations, work completion, and documentation.
• Maintain HSE records, compliance trackers, training records, inspection reports, certificates, and support internal and external audits.
• Coordinate daily activities of other Safety Officers and perform other HSE duties assigned by the Safety Manager.
• 2. Fire Protection & Civil Defense

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance, inspection, testing, repairs, and modifications of Fire Protection and LPG systems across all facilities.
• Manage Fire Protection procurement, contractor coordination, technical evaluations, and rectification of system deficiencies.
• Coordinate renewal of Fire Protection AMC contracts, Civil Defense contracts, certificates, inspections, and regulatory approvals.
• Liaise with Civil Defense, PRO, Procurement, Legal, and contractors to ensure timely compliance and certification.
• Maintain Fire Emergency Evacuation Plans, coordinate fire drills, and ensure emergency preparedness.
• Maintain Fire Protection records, Civil Defense documentation, compliance trackers, and provide coordination support during fire and LPG emergencies.
