UAE National -IT Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems and infrastructure. This role requires a strong problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others.

You will be the first point of contact for technical issues, ranging from hardware and software troubleshooting to network connectivity and system access.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues, both in-person and remotely.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripheral equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operating system issues (Windows, macOS), application errors, and connectivity problems.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other business applications.
• Respond to support tickets in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing issues based on urgency and impact.
• Assist with network troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections.
• Perform routine system checks, preventative maintenance, and software updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Document IT procedures, solutions to common problems, and system configurations for knowledge base improvement.
• Collaborate with other IT team members on projects, system upgrades, and escalated technical issues.
• Educate users on IT best practices, security awareness, and efficient use of company software and hardware.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
