Draftsperson (Landscaping & Contracting)

Planta Landscaping & Irrigation LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson with 3–4 years of UAE experience to prepare detailed technical drawings and documentation for our landscaping and contracting projects.

The ideal candidate is proficient in AutoCAD, capable of producing accurate drawings, and comfortable collaborating with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible with a candidate who is already based in the UAE, available to start soon, and has prior experience within the landscaping industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and construction drawings based on project requirements
• Develop and revise drawings in accordance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and site teams to understand design concepts and project objectives
• Produce accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software
• Review and update drawings based on comments, design changes, and site conditions
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure drawings are practical and compliant with construction standards
• Assist the project team during the construction phase by providing drawing revisions and technical drafting support
• Maintain organized drawing records and ensure all documentation is up to date

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field
• 3–4 years of proven UAE experience as a Draftsperson or in a similar role, within the landscaping industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, drafting standards, and detailing
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within project deadlines
• Must currently be based in the UAE and available to join soon
