Role Description The Specification Engineer – Landscape Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh. This role involves preparing detailed landscape specifications, technical documentation, and material submittals in line with project requirements, local regulations, and international standards.

The position includes coordinating with design teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that landscape plans, green roofing, irrigation systems, and hardscape/softscape elements are correctly specified and implemented.

Daily responsibilities also involve reviewing drawings, conducting product presentations to consultants and developers, following up with site visits to verify compliance with specifications, and resolving technical issues. The role requires close collaboration with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to maintain quality, timelines, and sustainability objectives across landscape projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Architecture and Landscape Architecture.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering principles related to grading, drainage, and infrastructure that interface with landscape works.
• Practical understanding of Construction processes and standards, especially for landscape, irrigation, and site works.
• Demonstrated Teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients.
• Proficiency in relevant design and specification software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, specification tools) and familiarity with international and local codes.
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in specifications and reports.
• Experience in sustainable landscape design and knowledge of water-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial for coordination with local stakeholders.
• Saudi nationals are preferred for this position.
