Junior Data Operations Analyst

Bavarian Capital is expanding its support functions to assist a major Saudi consultancy that is currently growing its operations. We are looking for a Junior Data Operations Analyst to help manage the flow of information that informs our strategic decisions. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our data assets as we support this significant client engagement.

About the role

The Junior Data Operations Analyst role focuses on the daily mechanics of our data systems. You will work within a distributed team to ensure that the information we use for investment decisions and client reporting is accurate and up to date.

What you will do

• Perform regular data validation tasks to maintain high quality records within our internal systems.
• Monitor automated data pipelines to identify and report any inconsistencies or failures in the information flow.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting packages for our partners and internal managers.
• Document data mapping rules and operational procedures to ensure consistency across the remote team.
• Clean and format datasets using spreadsheets or basic tools to prepare them for more complex analysis.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve data discrepancies found during routine audits.
• Support the maintenance of master data records to prevent duplication and ensure historical accuracy.
• Verify that incoming information from external sources meets our internal standards for clarity and completeness.

What we are looking for

A university degree in a field such as business, mathematics, statistics, or a related subject. Familiarity with spreadsheet software, particularly the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data formatting. A basic understanding of data structures and how information is stored and retrieved in professional databases. High attention to detail and a preference for working with precise figures and structured information.

Strong written communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to colleagues in different time zones. The ability to manage daily tasks independently while working in a fully remote environment. Curiosity about the operational side of investment management and financial markets.
