Skills Provision is currently seeking a Junior Procurement Officer for a real estate company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Duties

Sourcing and Purchasing

• Assist in identifying and sourcing suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.
• Obtain and review quotations to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to quality standards.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely approval and issuance.

Vendor Coordination

• Maintain productive relationships with existing suppliers and support the onboarding of new vendors.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Address and resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, or quality discrepancies.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and vendor agreements.
• Assist in preparing procurement reports, including cost analyses and purchasing trends.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and audit requirements.

Inventory and Cost Control

• Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure adequate stock levels of essential materials.
• Monitor purchase costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Report variances or discrepancies in procurement data to the Procurement Manager.

Compliance and Policies

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed about market trends and recommend improvements to procurement efficiency.

Support and Coordination

• Work closely with project teams to understand material requirements and delivery timelines.
• Support the Procurement Manager in vendor evaluations and negotiations.
• Assist in preparing contracts and service agreements when required.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Skills

• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of procurement processes, sourcing, and vendor management.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in the Saudi market.
