Process Engineer - Multi-Coating

This position is located at our Rx (lens prescription) Lab in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Due to the nature of our business, we are looking for a Process Engineer with Multi-Coating experience.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

You will ensure that production processes are in line with group standards and optimized in order to support the yield, cost, quality and services targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall activities and process handling

• Setup/Verify if the PCPs (process control plans) are respected and if controls are executed according to SOPs (internal audits).
• Put in place tools to monitor processes, measure capabilities with a focus on calibration → Track and reacts to results (participate to indicators and targets with production and quality, follow daily indicators).
• Train/monitor efficiency of calibrations.
• Prepare training support for processes and calibration with Manufacturing trainer/LOFT, and train operators, Maintenance.
• Continuous improvement of the workshop and efficiency, while optimizing consumption of consumables and process time, to permanently improve the manufacturing costs in collaboration with techno clubs.
• Organize in coordination with NPI the production and analysis of end-to- end tests in the context of preparation of new offers/product launches.
• Contribute to industrial projects/pilot.
• Introduce new processes from the beginning and assure in lining within permanent process control of defined results, documentation - KPI monitoring, within expected performances.
• Participate to the budget definition.

KPIs

• PCP (indicators/ respect of PCP)
• Quality: yields, pareto, defects analysis, capability, etc.
• Cost: consumables, equipment, productivity, EER (Equipment Effectiveness Ratio).
• Machine reliability

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• 3 to 5 years of work experience within production in any industrial company with multi-coating experience with the accountability of and responsibility for processes, machinery park and product quality.

• In-depth problem-solving and analytical skills
• Motivating others, adapts to change, Influencing & Persuading
• Good level of English language skills to interact with colleagues in an international environment.
