Job Summary

The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and field service for laboratory equipment, ensuring timely response to customer service requests and maximizing equipment uptime. The role includes equipment installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission laboratory instruments according to technical specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and accuracy.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and recommend preventive solutions to improve equipment performance.
• Provide technical support and basic user training to customers on the proper use of laboratory instruments.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation for all service activities.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and advancements in laboratory equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience with laboratory equipment is preferred.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
