Role Overview

As a Senior Client Account Manager for Singapore and Southeast Asia (SEA), you will oversee a portfolio of high-value Retail and Ecommerce advertisers, driving sustainable revenue growth and deepening strategic partnerships with flagship clients. You’ll leverage strong commercial acumen, data-driven storytelling, and deep platform expertise to help clients achieve their business objectives on Pinterest.

In this role, you will also share best practices, support the team’s growth through informal mentorship, and champion superior client service and performance standards.

What you’ll do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key Retail and Ecommerce advertisers across Singapore and Southeast Asia, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for Pinterest advertising solutions.
• Build and deepen senior-level relationships with partners, becoming a go-to resource on media strategy, measurement, and full-funnel performance.
• Develop strategic account plans aligned to each client’s business priorities, regularly surfacing growth opportunities, and proactively addressing risks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Engineering, Measurement & Insights, Product Marketing, Creative Strategy, Performance Solutions) to deliver best-in-class service and ensure partner needs are understood and met.
• Turn complex data sets into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations, driving measurable results for your clients.
• Maintain deep expertise in Pinterest advertising best practices—especially lower-funnel and performance solutions—actively guiding clients on optimization strategies.
• Monitor and optimize campaigns across targeting, bidding, creative, and measurement. Deliver clear, actionable performance updates and recommendations to drive results.
• Lead client meetings end-to-end: uncover objectives and challenges, present complex solutions in an accessible way, and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Advise key clients on holistic media strategies, including audience planning, bidding models, creative formats, attribution, and beta/alpha product testing.
• Stay informed on Pinterest ad products and features, clearly communicating their value and helping clients capitalize on new offerings. Engage internal partners as needed to resolve questions or issues.
• Use AI-driven tools and platforms to continuously monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities, and flag potential risks early for clients.
• Champion and share new AI-powered solutions and best practices across the team to drive performance and operational excellence.
• Act as a mentor and knowledge resource for peers, promoting a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of experience in digital advertising, media sales, or client account management, owning end-to-end client communication for high-value relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to turn data into persuasive stories and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills, with experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• A collaborative team player who can work effectively with technical and non-technical partners in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep expertise in digital advertising, campaign optimization, measurement, and analytical problem-solving; hands-on knowledge of Search, Shopping, Display, and/or Social ad platforms is a plus.
• Experience working with retail and ecommerce advertisers, with an understanding of their key performance and growth drivers.
• Experience using AI-powered tools to monitor and optimize campaign performance and drive better client outcomes.
• Curiosity and openness to adopting new AI tools and staying current with advertising and industry trends.
• Fluency in English is required; additional proficiency in regional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa) is an advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel within Singapore and the region as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

In-Office Requirement Statement

• We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
• As such, this role will need to be in the office or in front of our customers for in-person collaboration, typically 2 days per week, and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance to our Singapore City based office.
