Enterprise Senior Account Executive / Sales Manager (Database Solutions)

Location: Singapore (Covering Southeast Asia – Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia) Reporting To: APAC _General Manager

About the Role

We are hiring a high-impact sales professional to drive revenue growth for a cutting-edge, real-time analytics database platform. This is a strategic, zero-to-one role focused on building a pipeline from scratch and aggressively expanding our market presence across Southeast Asia. You will be the commercial tip of the spear in a fast-growing startup environment, bringing deep tech solutions to the enterprise market.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Sales Execution: Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from outbound lead generation and pipeline development to complex deal closure.
• Zero-to-One Pipeline Generation: Build and scale the SEA pipeline from the ground up, utilizing data-driven market intelligence and signal-based selling.
• Enterprise Solution Selling: Drive enterprise-wide adoption of database and analytics platforms, engaging in deep, technical conversations with C-level executives, Data Architects, and engineering stakeholders.
• Competitive Positioning: Effectively position our solutions against legacy and modern competitors (e.g., Snowflake, ClickHouse, Databricks, MongoDB).
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with global product, marketing, and engineering teams to refine go-to-market strategies and product-market fit.
• Regional Expansion: Serve as a foundational pillar for our broader APAC expansion strategy.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of proven enterprise technology sales experience, with a mandatory background in database, data infrastructure, or analytics platforms.
• Market Expertise: Strong, pre-existing network and experience selling into the Southeast Asia market (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia). Industry exposure to Financial Services or Manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Demand Generation: Exceptional track record of independent pipeline creation. You do not rely solely on inbound leads.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to sell complex, deep-tech solutions and comfortably navigate highly technical evaluation cycles.
• Sales DNA: Background in structured enterprise buying cycles with a strong commercial mindset and stakeholder management skills.
• Environment Fit: Previous experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up. Exposure to Chinese tech companies and culture is an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated OTE: SGD 200,000 – 400,000
• Structure: ~50% fixed base salary / ~50% variable commission, offering top-tier earnings for high performers.
