Inside Sales Representative, Export

OBJECTIVES

The successful candidate will be part of a market-leading business in the bearings industry with an expanding presence across Southeast Asia. Reporting to the Sales Manager at the Singapore HQ, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth by supporting customers remotely, managing sales enquiries, and developing business opportunities within assigned markets.

In addition to managing key customer accounts, the role shifts from role shifts from field sales and business development to inside sales to drive sales growth through remote customer engagement, lead and pipeline management, quotation and order processing, account management, cross-functional collaboration, and effective use of CRM/ERP systems towards achieving sales targets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage inbound sales enquiries and proactively identify new business opportunities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and sales opportunities
• Drive sales activities to achieve assigned sales targets throughout the fiscal year
• Qualify leads and maintain an active sales pipeline through regular follow-ups
• Process customer orders accurately and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery
• Provide product information, pricing, and technical support in collaboration with relevant departments
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts to maximize sales potential
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM system
• Deliver excellent after-sales support and resolve customer issues promptly; and
• Liaise with internal logistics/shipping teams and customers on shipping schedules, documentation, delivery updates, and any shipment-related issues

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
• Previous experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, or business development, preferably in the industrial, engineering, automotive, or manufacturing sectors
• Strong interest in sales, customer relationship management, and business development
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused with a proactive and results-driven mindset
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable communicating with customers via phone, email, and online platforms
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is an advantage; and
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Candidates with more experience will be considered for a Senior Inside Sales Representative position.
