ROLE

The Culinary and Operation’s Director of Singapore is a pivotal role at the heart of a business. Oversees all aspects of Singapore strategy, helps set strategic goals, drive growth and is responsible for the flow of operational information to the Founders. He/sheis responsible for improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of Black Sheep Restaurants through the

implementation of effective strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Seek out and pursue new opportunities and continue to grow Black Sheep Singapore’s pipeline in Singapore.

● Work with Agents and Landlords to source potential new sites, negotiate the best possible rental agreements for these sites,

in co-operation with the partners of Black Sheep Restaurants Singapore.

● Work with the projects team to engage and manage contractors for all new projects in Singapore.

● Lead operations with passion, integrity and knowledge while promoting the Core Principles of Black Sheep Restaurants.

● Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure business objectives are effectively met.

● Be accountable for financial success by developing and managing operational budgets to promote profitability.

● Oversee a team of Operational Leads taking part in their development as effective leaders and individuals.

● Ensure Operational Leads are motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the highest standard.

● Ensure Operational Teams have the resources required to meet objectives.

● Lead by example on the front lines, ensuring the team are delivering memorable guest experiences and world-class service.

● Be a chief brand ambassador, building and nurturing relationships across the Black Sheep Restaurants community.

● Be a custodian storyteller for Black Sheep Restaurants carrying forward the stories behind the restaurants.

● Ensure all outlets are complying with health, safety, hygiene and legal protocols and implement where required.

● Support strong cross-company communication by maintaining working relationships across clusters and with Base Station.

● Evaluate and manage overall performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics.

● Support the development and execution of business driven initiatives to continually evolve, adapt and champion the success

of Black Sheep Restaurants.

● Be aware of the latest developments within the hospitality industry to ensure Black Sheep Restaurants maintains its

competitive position.

● Build trust by understanding and believing in Black Sheep Restaurants Core Principles.

● Work with the Founders to create and execute the story of the restaurant, assist with curating menus, dishes and specials

in collaboration with the culinary leadership council.

● Lead kitchen team with passion, integrity and knowledge while promoting the culture and Core Principles of Black Sheep Restaurants.
