About the Roles

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join a chemical manufacturing company based in Tuas, conveniently located within walking distance from the MRT. This is a permanent, full-time role operating on a Monday to Friday schedule (8:30am – 5:30pm), offering a competitive salary package with allowances, AWS, and variable bonus, along with a stable 5-day work week that supports work-life balance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee incoming inspections and assess supplier quality, identifying trends and driving improvement initiatives.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production cycle using SPC to ensure adherence to customer specifications.
• Maintain and update QA documentation in compliance with ISO standards and internal quality systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure QA data and records are accurate, complete, and aligned with established procedures.
• Investigate quality concerns, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support customer enquiries by preparing and coordinating required quality documentation.
• Prepare and review documents such as COA and reports in line with procedures and customer expectations.
• Manage customer complaints by conducting investigations and ensuring timely, well-documented resolutions.
• Coordinate sample evaluations and ad-hoc sampling, analysing results to support decision-making.
• Plan and participate in internal and external audits to maintain compliance and audit readiness.
• Conduct risk assessments, FMEA, and training activities while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• Promote and actively participate in company quality and EHS programmes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical, Science, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and statistical analysis techniques.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
