Job Description

As a Business Development Manager - China Market Focus, your main responsibilities will include:

• Drive new business development and subscription sales across the Asia-Pacific region through client meetings, calls, events, and strategic prospecting.
• Develop and execute sector-focused sales plans, identify key stakeholders, and build strong pipelines to achieve revenue targets.
• Manage existing client relationships, ensuring renewals, account growth, and upselling opportunities.
• Present market insights and subscription solutions to senior decision-makers across multiple industries.
• Collaborate with research and regional teams to promote thought leadership and support business growth initiatives.
• Maintain accurate sales activity records and reporting through Salesforce CRM.
• Support marketing campaigns, industry events, webinars, and provide market feedback to enhance products and services.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager - China Market Focus should have:

• Proven track record in B2B sales or business development, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience selling research, data, advisory, subscription, or professional services solutions to senior decision-makers.
• Strong ability to develop new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and achieve revenue targets.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Salesforce CRM experience is an advantage.
• Established network within finance, corporate, or government sectors across Asia-Pacific is preferred.
• Degree-qualified in Business, Economics, Finance, International Relations, or a related discipline.
• Salesforce experience.
