Overview

Our client is an international organization and they are seeking a proactive and highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join the team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive IT support to our users, ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems, software, and hardware.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining our technology infrastructure, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders with a deep commitment to outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality onsite and remote technical support for internal users, covering hardware, software, devices and mobile applications to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in a timely manner, including user support requests, system errors, printing problems and basic network connectivity.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, maintenance and upgrading of laptops, desktops, tablets, peripherals and related software.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 / Office 365, including account creation, access management, troubleshooting and support for tools such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Support school-approved mobile applications and learning platforms, resolving technical issues and providing basic user guidance and training.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance, processes and user experience, and share suggestions with the IT team.
• Document and track incidents, resolutions, asset details and changes to the IT environment in an organised and accurate manner.
• Assist in planning and delivering user training and simple how-to guides to help staff and students use technology confidently and independently.
• Keep up to date with relevant IT tools and trends, and share best practices with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• 1-2 year of experience in IT user and operation support, including proficiency with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Hands-on experience with O365 administration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform system upgrades, updates, and installations across various technologies.
• Experience in supporting and troubleshooting mobile applications for a business environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills, with a focus on achieving measurable results.
• A collaborative mindset, with a commitment to fostering inclusive team environments and valuing diverse perspectives.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English and Chinese, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a clear and patient manner.
