Marketing Specialist

Our client is a globally recognized consumer brand with a strong presence across sports, lifestyle, entertainment, and youth culture. They are seeking a Social Media Specialist to drive their social media strategy and digital storytelling initiatives in Hong Kong.

This role plays a critical part in building brand awareness, increasing audience engagement, and creating locally relevant content through social media, content creation, influencer marketing, and community-building activities.

Your Role

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and growing the company's social media ecosystem across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, and websites. You will develop engaging content strategies, identify compelling storytelling opportunities, and create localized content that resonates with target audiences, particularly Gen Z consumers.

The role also involves managing content production partners, creators, influencers, and agencies to deliver impactful campaigns. In addition, you will build and maintain relationships with media partners, influencers, and content creators while monitoring channel performance, consumer insights, and digital trends to continuously optimize engagement and brand visibility.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, content creation, or agency environments
• Hands-on experience managing social media platforms and website content
• Strong understanding of social media trends, audience behaviors, and content optimization
• Experience in content creation, copywriting, community management, and content production
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Existing network within media, lifestyle, sports, culture, production, or creator communities is preferred
• Creative, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Fluent in Cantonese and English, both written and spoken
