Digital Copywriter (1-year Contract)

Summary

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate professional to join Retail Products Marketing team as Digital Copywriter. You will be responsible for creating original copy and providing translation of copy for the PayMe & Reward+ app and marketing communications from English to Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.

Being creative in ideas, keen to learn and committed to take ownership of projects, you will take up a hands‑on role working closely with Customer Growth, Design, CX (user‑research), Product Owners, Data & Insights, as well as our Technical Developers.

Responsibilities

• Enhance Retail Products including PayMe overall customer & merchant experience to create a positive impact, improving brand awareness & perception
• Provide translation of in app copy, marketing communications, emails and other channels from English to Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese
• Support the team on crafting content across a variety of mediums
• Ensure work delivered meets the quality standards, tone of voice and copy guidelines
• Contribute to campaign launches and collaborate with external creative partners
• Work together with multiple stakeholders (Product, Technology, Marketing) to identify, scope and delivery key opportunities to ensure we achieve both customer & business outcomes
• Be the voice of the customer within PayMe and Reward+, build a customer experience driven culture
• Work with Lead Copywriter and Senior Copywriter to provide copy and translation support
• Support & collaborate within the design team; contribute & maintain best in class experiences for our customers and merchants
• Establish and maintain copy guidelines, principles and best practices to ensure consistency across deliverables
• Maintain regular & positive engagement with key support functions such as Risk, Compliance and Governance of Digital Customer Engagement to ensure alignment
• Perform any ad‑hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• University graduate in Journalism, Publishing, Public Relations, Translation or other related disciplines
• Experience of translation or editing and delivering localised digital content across multiple platforms
• Good command of written and spoken English, traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese language skills
• Digital agency background with an experience of social, content marketing, paid media campaigns and UX copywriting is a plus
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Reliable and able to take direction
• Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
• An aptitude for creative thinking and problem solving
• Outgoing and able to fit into a busy but tight‑knit team
• Immediate availability or short notice is preferred
