Growth Marketing Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, result-driven Growth Manager with over 4 years of experience in the financial industry, specifically within the virtual asset/cryptocurrency sector. In this role, you will be responsible for driving user acquisition, market exposure, and ecosystem growth in Hong Kong.

You will combine your deep knowledge of crypto market trends with a strategic mindset to execute high-impact online/offline events, forge strong strategic partnerships, and design effective user retention campaigns—all while navigating the local regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities

User Growth & Retention Strategies: Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end user growth initiatives. Develop attractive welcome offers, referral programs, and lifecycle marketing campaigns to boost user acquisition and long-term retention.

Event Strategy & Execution (Online/Offline): Plan and execute impactful online webinars, community AMA sessions, and offline events (e.g., conferences, workshops, networking meetups) tailored specifically to the Hong Kong market

Partnership & Ecosystem Development: Leverage your solid network and establish new partnerships with institutional clients, crypto communities, media outlets, and event organizers to maximize brand exposure and uncover new business opportunities.

Regulatory Compliance Support: Stay updated on Hong Kong’s financial and virtual asset regulatory framework (e.g., SFC guidelines). Prepare documentation, marketing collateral, and campaign proposals to ensure all BD activities process smoothly through compliance reviews.

Market Analysis & Insights: Monitor the cryptocurrency market closely. Analyze competitor moves, shifting user behaviors, and macroeconomic trends to adapt growth tactics in real-time.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 4+ years of business development, growth marketing, or partnership experience within the financial industry (FinTech, traditional finance, or Web3/Crypto).

Crypto Market Expertise: Deep understanding of virtual assets, blockchain technology, Web3 culture, and current crypto market dynamics

Market Knowledge: Deeply familiar with the Hong Kong market landscape, local consumer behavior, and financial regulations.

Track Record: Proven experience in managing user growth metrics, designing welcome/incentive schemes, and running successful retention campaigns.

Network: Possess an established, solid network of partnerships across the local financial or tech ecosystem.

Mindset: A strong "can-do" attitude with the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, highly volatile, and evolving industry. Comfortable handling ambiguity and accepting new challenges.

Languages: Fluent in Cantonese/Mandarin and English (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with local partners and prepare compliance materials.

Licenses: SFC License Type 1 is highly preferred.
