KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Tax Manager/ Tax Manager to join our Business Tax Advisory - Financial Services (Banking and Insurance) practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
• Build and maintain client relationships and demonstrate your knowledge in financial services industry
• Manage risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and the budget for projects
• Direct teams of tax professionals/assistants working on client projects, ensuring follow up strategies are in place
• Advise clients and be accountable for delivering high quality tax service and advice
• Keep abreast of new technical developments and solutions, and confidently market these applications to both internal and external clients
• Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm, presenting a positive image of self and KPMG Experience & Background
• Bachelor's degree with a professional qualification (accounting or legal)
• A proven history of managing and developing others, developing business and acting autonomously
• Proven client management skills
• Minimum 5 years of Hong Kong and or international tax experiences (including advisory) in a professional firm; with tax experience in the financial services industry is an advantage
• Proven ability to develop and manage people effectively through leadership, appropriate delegation, coaching and mentoring of staff
• Strong presentation skills with an excellent command of verbal and written English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) About KPMG
