Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will mainly perform to end-to-end recruitment and talent mapping for key business functions, with the remaining focused on HR business partnering and people-related initiatives. The role requires frequent travel to Shenzhen on a regular basis and close collaboration with stakeholders across Hong Kong and Mainland China.
Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for investment banking, capital markets and corporate functions.
- Partner with business leaders to understand workforce requirements and develop effective hiring strategies.
- Conduct market mapping and talent intelligence research across Hong Kong's financial services sector.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through direct sourcing, networking and industry engagement.
- Leverage LinkedIn and other sourcing channels to identify and engage high-calibre candidates.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, assessment, interview coordination, offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Develop recruitment analytics and provide hiring insights to management.
- Drive continuous improvements in recruitment processes and candidate experience.
HR Business Partnering
- Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, performance management, employee relations and offboarding.
- Partner with managers on organizational design, workforce planning and talent development initiatives.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures and employee engagement programs.
- Support succession planning and talent review processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment regulations and HR best practices across Hong Kong and Mainland China.
- Contribute to broader HR projects and organizational development initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
Experience & Background
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 8 -10 years of HR experience, with significant exposure to talent acquisition.
- Prior experience recruiting within financial services, investment banking, securities, capital markets or related sectors is highly preferred.
- Minimum 1 full year of recruiting experience within a License 1, 4, 9 firm is a must.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring mid-to-senior level professionals.
- Experience partnering directly with business leaders and managing multiple critical hiring mandates.
- Exposure to both talent acquisition and broader HRBP responsibilities is advantageous.

Language & Mobility
- Native or professional-level Mandarin Chinese is essential.
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Willingness and ability to travel to Shenzhen on a weekly basis.
What's on Offer
- Annual salary between HKD 480,000 and HKD 600,000.
