Legal Counsel - Real Estate (PQE6-8+)

About The Client

Our client is a well-established investment and real assets group with a significant international footprint. With a diversified portfolio spanning key global markets, the business continues to pursue strategic growth opportunities across asset acquisition, development, and portfolio management.

Due to ongoing expansion and transaction activity, they are seeking an experienced legal professional (PQE 6-8+) to join their high-calibre legal team.

About The Role

Reporting to the senior legal leadership team, this position will play a key role in supporting a broad range of cross-border investment and business initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities include

• Advising internal stakeholders on corporate, commercial and investment-related matters
• Supporting acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and other transactional projects
• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating transaction documents and commercial agreements
• Working closely with business teams on structuring, execution and post-completion matters
• Providing practical, commercially-focused legal guidance on day-to-day operational issues
• Managing external counsel and coordinating legal support across different regions as required

Requirements

• Hong Kong qualified lawyer with approximately 6-8+ years' post-qualification experience
• Strong training background from a leading international law firm; candidates with a combination of private practice and in-house experience will be viewed favourably
• Solid experience in M&A, private equity, joint ventures and complex cross-border transactions
• Proven ability to manage matters independently while engaging effectively with senior business stakeholders
• Strong commercial judgement, attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and project management skills
• Fluent English and Chinese language capability (written and spoken) will be essential
• Prior exposure to real assets, investment platforms, infrastructure, or property-related transactions would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite
