Quantity Surveyer

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial operations, cost controls, and contract administration across active civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in contract administration, delay claim evaluations, and subcontractor management, while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting project success.

Job Responsibilities

• Contract & Cost Management: Responsible for the administration of main contracts and subcontracts, cost estimation, budgeting, material procurement, and ongoing cost control.
• Claims & Valuations: Handle contractual claims, variation valuations, condition surveying job valuations, and subcontractors’ claims (including delay events under NEC Contracts and COVID-19 related claim processing).
• Tender & Measurement: Oversee tender preparation, compilation, and review using the Hong Kong Standard Method of Measurement (HKSMM).
• Client & Team Liaison: Manage client relationships with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills while leading project teams on site.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant on-site experience in main contractor environments.
• Technical Mastery: Proven experience with tender documentation, HKSMM, NEC Contract delay events, condition surveying, and COVID-19 delay/cost claims.
• Education: Degree or Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent (Candidates with equivalent practical experience will also be considered).
• Languages: Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Work Right: Legally eligible to work in Hong Kong (HK Permanent Resident, TTPS, QMAS, IANG, Dependent Visa, or other valid work permits).
