Junior MEP Project Manager

Based in Bayside, Queens, NY, we are a top-rated company providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering consulting services for commercial, institutional, and facility infrastructure projects.

We're seeking a Junior MEP Project Manager with AutoCAD experience and a foundation in building systems engineering. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HVAC and mechanical systems knowledge who is looking to grow into a full Project Manager role while supporting a variety of engineering and facility assessment projects.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support the management of MEP engineering projects from planning through completion
• Coordinate project activities with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams
• Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD
• Assist with due diligence assessments, site investigations, and facility evaluations
• Support mechanical system design, documentation, and project deliverables
• Participate in project scheduling, reporting, and technical coordination efforts
• Review existing building systems and provide support for upgrade and replacement projects
• Develop technical knowledge of HVAC, boiler, chiller, and cooling tower systems

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience supporting MEP, mechanical, facilities, consulting engineering, or construction projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers
• Experience supporting engineering projects, facility assessments, or due diligence activities
• Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills
• Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
