Work Arrangement: This position is fully on-site at our San Jose office. Remote and hybrid work options are not available.

Compensation

$38,900–$45,760 annual base salary, plus uncapped commission and performance-based bonuses

About the Role

IntelliPro is looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior Technical Recruiter / Recruiting Trainee to join our recruiting team in San Jose.

Our team specializes in recruiting technical professionals across the semiconductor, artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous driving, and broader high-tech industries.

We are particularly interested in candidates with an educational background in engineering, computer science, data science, or another technical discipline who would like to apply their technical knowledge in a people-focused and business-driven career.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communicating with people, is comfortable initiating conversations, and is genuinely interested in building a long-term career in recruiting. Previous recruiting or technical recruiting experience is a significant advantage but is not required.

Candidates without prior recruiting experience must demonstrate a strong interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, and the technology industry.

What You Will Do

• Partner with recruiting leaders, account managers, and clients to understand technical hiring needs and position requirements.
• Recruit professionals across semiconductor, AI, robotics, autonomous driving, software, hardware, and other high-tech fields.
• Learn technical positions, engineering functions, industry terminology, and the qualifications required for different roles.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, internal databases, professional networks, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
• Proactively contact and engage active and passive candidates through phone calls, LinkedIn, email, and other communication channels.
• Conduct candidate screenings to evaluate technical background, professional experience, career interests, communication skills, and overall fit.
• Develop personalized outreach strategies and build long-term relationships with candidates.
• Present qualified candidates to clients and prepare clear and accurate candidate summaries.
• Coordinate interviews and guide candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Support offer discussions, compensation negotiations, candidate closing, and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate candidate information and recruiting activity records in the applicant tracking system.
• Research target companies, talent markets, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
• Meet individual and team performance goals in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field is strongly preferred, including but not limited to: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering, science, or technology-related disciplines
• 0 to 3 years of professional experience.
• Genuine interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, and the technology industry.
• Enjoys communicating and building relationships with people from different professional backgrounds.
• Willing and comfortable initiating conversations with new people through phone calls, LinkedIn, email, and other channels.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn technical concepts, engineering terminology, and different technical career paths.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, resilient, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple candidates, positions, and priorities.
• Willingness and ability to work full-time and fully on-site at our San Jose office.

Highly Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in recruiting, talent sourcing, talent acquisition, or staffing.
• Technical recruiting experience in semiconductor, AI, robotics, autonomous driving, software, hardware, or another high-tech industry.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, job boards, ATS platforms, or other recruiting tools.
• Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, campus organizations, or other communication-focused activities.
• Familiarity with technical positions, engineering career paths, or high-tech industries.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency is preferred but not required.
