Develop and implement procurement strategies: Collaborate with clients to identify their procurement needs and objectives, and develop and implement effective strategies to drive transformational change.

Optimize processes: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and drive overall value for clients.

Conduct research and analysis: Utilize data and market research to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement, and present findings and recommendations to clients.

Build and maintain client relationships: Establish strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide excellent customer service to ensure their satisfaction.

Provide expertise and guidance: Serve as a subject matter expert in procurement, advising clients on best practices and industry trends to help them achieve their goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams within McKinsey and with client teams to ensure smooth implementation of procurement strategies.

Monitor and track progress: Monitor and track progress of procurement initiatives, identify and resolve any issues that arise, and provide timely updates to clients and stakeholders.

Train and mentor team members: Train and mentor junior team members in procurement best practices, and provide guidance and support to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals.

Manage projects: Take ownership of project management, ensuring timely delivery of projects and meeting client expectations.

Stay updated on industry trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in procurement, and proactively bring new ideas and insights to client engagements.
