Junior Graphic Designer Job at ZORCH in Chicago

Zorch is a Chicago-based Branded Merchandise and corporate apparel distributor that provides simplified, technology-driven solutions for Fortune 500 companies.

We're looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, shows curiosity and initiative, and is eager to continue growing their skills as a key player on a small but mighty team of creatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Bring our brand and our clients' brands to life across a variety of touchpoints, including presentation decks, Branded Merchandise, print collateral, and other visual communications.
• Organize and maintain design files, assets, and templates to ensure consistency, accessibility, and efficient collaboration.
• Prepare production-ready files for print and digital use, coordinating with internal and external partners as needed.
• Develop high-quality 2D and 3D mockups, renderings, and visualizations that help communicate design concepts and support decision-making.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicating ideas and project updates clearly and professionally.
• Receive and incorporate feedback constructively while offering thoughtful design recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience. 1–2 years of professional design experience is a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Based in or near the Chicago area, with the ability to work from our downtown Chicago office one day per week.
• Thoughtful portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual work across a variety of brands, channels, and audiences.
