Luxury Interior Designer / Architectural Designer (AutoCAD)

Vintage Luxury Homes is seeking an experienced Luxury Interior Designer with strong AutoCAD skills to join our in-house design team.

This is not a decorating or furniture selection position. We are looking for a designer with a deep understanding of architectural interiors, space planning, construction detailing, and custom millwork for ultra-luxury homes.

Responsibilities

● Design custom luxury kitchens, bathrooms, dressing rooms, closets, libraries, bars, wine cellars, and architectural millwork.

● Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings, elevations, sections, and construction documents.

● Develop cabinetry layouts, trim details, ceiling treatments, fireplaces, built-ins, and custom furniture.

● Create sophisticated interior color palettes and coordinate premium materials, finishes, stone, wood, metal, and lighting.

● Work closely with architects, clients, cabinet makers, craftsmen, and construction teams to ensure exceptional execution and project management..

● Maintain the highest standards of design, proportion, functionality, and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

● 5+ years designing luxury residential interiors.

● Advanced AutoCAD and Revit proficiency (required).

● Strong understanding of residential construction and custom millwork detailing.

● Exceptional knowledge of kitchen and bath design, cabinetry, space planning, and finish selection.

● Excellent eye for scale, proportion, architectural detailing, and timeless luxury design.

● Experience collaborating with custom cabinet shops and high-end builders is highly preferred.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a true designer—someone who understands architecture, construction, and millwork at the highest level. We are not seeking a decorator whose experience is limited to selecting furniture, accessories, fabrics, or paint colors. Our projects demand refined design judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to create extraordinary luxury interiors from concept through construction.
