Job Description

Job Title: Workday Transformation, Jr. Project Manager

Location: Northern Chicago, IL – 100% onsite – Local candidates only

Period: 6-month contract – Strong potential for extension

Hours/Week: 40 hours

Rate: $50/hour + performance-based bonus

Contract Type: 1099 or W-2, U.S. Citizens Only

Onsite- 3 days a week (no exceptions)

Scope of Services

The Workday Transformation Jr. Project Manager will support Workday implementation and optimization initiatives by coordinating project activities, tracking deliverables, and facilitating communication across stakeholders. This role requires someone with basic Workday knowledge who can quickly adapt to transformation processes, assist with change management, and ensure project timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Workday transformation projects from planning through execution
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and track project milestones and deliverables
• Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and maintain project documentation
• Assist with change management activities and stakeholder communication
• Support testing, training, and deployment activities
• Monitor project risks and help escalate issues as needed

Required Experience

• 1-3 years of project coordination or junior project management experience
• Exposure to Workday or similar enterprise systems
• Experience supporting technology implementations or transformation initiatives

Skills and Competencies

• Project coordination and organizational skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, HR, or related field preferred
