Position Overview

The Jr. Financial Analyst will conduct analysis of the company’s operational, business, and reporting processes. The role involves a great deal of ad‑hoc analysis and critical thinking, with a focus on high‑impact projects and supporting senior management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Control costs, forecast income, and improve key processes under the supervision of the Risk Analytics Manager.
• Produce daily, monthly, and profitability reports for upper management.
• Perform ad‑hoc or as‑needed analysis on topics such as process improvements, potential business moves, and valuation analysis.
• Work directly with all Westlake Flooring departments, providing analysis and recommendations.
• Utilize Excel, VBA, or SQL to gather and analyze data.
• Essential Knowledge, Skills & Licenses Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
• Proficient in Excel, VBA, and SQL. Financial planning and analysis background is highly desired.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, IT, Accounting, or Business from an accredited institution. Compensation Base salary of $31.25 per hour plus a potential bonus of up to $5,000 per year. Compensation to be determined at hiring based on location, skill set, experience, and education.
