Architectural Designer | Temp-to-perm opportunity

A foot in the door at one of DC's most design-forward studios — and if the fit is right, a permanent seat at the table. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a practice that punches well above its weight on multifamily residential work.

They're creative, they're collaborative, and their studio in a buzzy DC neighbourhood is the kind of place you actually want to show up to. They're looking for an architect at the 3–8 year mark who's sharp in Revit, strong on design, and ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to multifamily residential projects across design and documentation phases, bringing both creative and technical rigour to the work.
• Produce drawings and design material in Revit to a high standard, working within a collaborative team environment.
• Apply strong graphic and design skills across presentations, concept development, and production work.
• Work independently when needed, ask the right questions when not, and collaborate naturally with the wider team.

Skills & Experience

• 3–8 years of experience in multifamily residential architecture.
• Strong Revit skills are essential; proficiency in SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign rounds things out.
• Lumion, Rhino, and/or Enscape experience is a welcome bonus.
• Progress toward architectural licensure preferred; LEED GA or AP is a nice addition.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (professional degree preferred); valid US work permit required.
• Self-starting, energetic, and creatively confident — someone who raises the room.
