Senior Content Writer

Role Summary

This role supports enterprise and divisional initiatives by translating complex technology and business topics into clear, accurate, and practical change enablement content for employees and leaders.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and content producer — not a technical writer — who can independently research, evaluate, and summarize complex information, and produce polished, publishable content with minimal guidance while juggling multiple projects in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a high volume of SharePoint pages (several per week), from simple copy-only pages to complex layouts with wireframes, multiple columns, and embedded images
• Produce user guides, presentations, video scripts, and other change adoption and communication materials
• Translate IT and other technical change initiatives into messaging for audiences ranging from the entire company to small teams
• Apply change management principles to develop messaging and enablement content that drives awareness and adoption
• Coordinate operational and logistical details across multiple concurrent projects

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience in internal or external communications, with strong independent writing and editing ability (without relying on AI)
• Ability to independently research, evaluate, and summarize complex information with accuracy
• Intermediate to advanced SharePoint skills, including building and designing pages from scratch
• Organizational change management experience (e.g., ADKAR, CTME); familiarity with mapping current state to future state is helpful
• Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency
• Basic video editing capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn a new business quickly, think independently, and produce content with minimal guidance

Nice to Have

• SharePoint Design page experience (a significant differentiator)
• Portfolio or writing samples

• A technical writer
• Someone who relies on AI for writing
• A research or long-form article background — this role is about headlines, subheads, and digestible content, not deep-dive articles
• Mortgage industry experience is not required
